Workshop change

For those planning to attend this Saturday’s workshop, I’m afraid we’ll need to reschedule it. There are some issues with the building we need to address first.

Thanks for your patience and we will keep you posted.

Washington College Academy Announces “Open Campus” March 21

Officials with Washington College Academy announced today the first WCA Open Campus would be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 21 at Washington College Academy.

Open Campus is a new event where the public is invited to WCA to see demonstrations and presentations on classes and workshops to meet at the historic school in the coming weeks.

“We plan on offering some weekend workshops on home improvement projects, art, music, and history,” said Dr. Robert Orr, WCA President. “Open Campus is a way of previewing these offerings.”

Visitors can talk with teachers, register for a workshop or a course, and take a tour of the campus buildings and the Salem Presbyterian Church.

The WCA Alumni Association will have concessions available and local civic organizations will have representatives. The school plans on making Open Campus an annual event as WCA begins to expand its offerings and amenities.
