WCA and the Doak House Museum to Offer “Canning for Beginners”

Washington College Academy and the Doak House Museum at Tusculum College will offer “Canning for Beginners” from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 24 and Oct. 1 at the Harris Hall kitchen on the WCA campus. Classes will be $20 per person and all materials will be provided. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 423-636-8554 or emailing Leah Walker.

Friends of WCA in the News

An oil painting created in our Historic Painting class was featured in the July 23, 2013 edition of the Herald & Tribune. The painting by Joe Kilday depicts , the original Washington County Courthouse in Jonesborough and is currently on display at the Nathaneal Greene Museum.
